Unique programs: The WSD Preschool is committed to prepare students emotionally and academically for Kindergarten. For this reason, our program only enrolls 4 year old students that will be attending kindergarten the following year. During the school year students and parents have the opportunity to visit different elementary schools, attend a kinder readiness orientation meeting and meet some of the kindergarten teachers.

Bilingual preschool program: Two of the Preschool Promise classroom are a Spanish immersion with a 90/10 model, 90% of the day students receive instruction in Spanish and 10% of day is English language development. The third classroom will be an English plus classroom. In this classroom students will receive 90% of the instruction in English and 10% will be Spanish language development.
