WHAT IS A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS?
Youth experiencing mental health crisis may experience intense feelings of distress, change in functioning, catastrophic life events and may or may not be of danger to self /others.
WHAT IS THE YOUTH CRISIS TEAM AND HOW CAN THEY HELP?
The youth crisis team consist of two therapists who will provide crisis assessments and intervention in the home, school, and community. The team will provide a collaborative coordination of care focusing on stabilization and safety in your home.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CALL?
A therapist will offer you immediate help to stabilize the crisis and determine if the crisis team needs to go to your home. Will be active in warm hand off to referrals if needed.

SCHOOL BASED SERVICES THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY CRISIS OUTREACH TEAM (CCOT)
