1 box of cornstarch
Approximately 1 to 1 ½ cup of water (it really depends on the consistency that you want)
Cake pan or shallow container. Long rectangular cookie sheets work great
Add water to the cornstarch gradually until semi-firm. The mixture will feel firm enough to
pick up but then have a “melty” effect as it drips off your fingers…this is what you want!
Kids are fascinated how the goop is firm yet quickly turns “liquidy” to the touch. To clean
up goop from the floor let it dry and then vacuum or sweep up. You can color the goop by
adding a few drops of food coloring to the water as you add it to the cornstarch.
